We take the saw off immediately as we don't use that. And as seniors the sawing action upright is too much. However we can cut a good size branch with the tool without a saw. This is the style we have found that works the best for our needs. Arrived quickly and seems to be a sturdy tool. Would recommend.

Came damaged so wasnt able to try it. Am returning for exact replacement. Wjlhile It looks good, it is a little heavy for me. We will see when the new one arrives.

The saw works well for cutting thicker branches.The pruner also works pretty good. Sometimes it can be awkward (you think you're on the branch and pull the rope, but the pruner doesn't work) so you have to try again.For the price I think it's worth while. I was able to complete the pruning job with it.

I have 2 of the TP42XX pole saw trimmers. The original blades on both pole saws did not perform as well as expected. I found a Corona replacement blade on Amazon and gave it a try. The performance improved dramatically. That saw is listed on Amazon as "Corona Tree Pruner Saw Blade, Brown/A". The packaging gives the part number as AP7243. The packaging also claims it will fit the following Corona pole saws: TP42XX, TP2212, TP2512, TP2612, and TP2712.The only thing I see that is different from the original blade: The kerf seems to be a little wider and the tooth profile is more symmetrical. The mounting hole pattern is identical and the replacement blade has the corona insignia on the side of the blade, I found it very odd that neither blade supplied with my saws had the "Corona Razor Tooth Saw" insignia on the saw blade. The ad for the saw on amazon does show that insignia on the saw blade. Very odd?
