Biggest POS, consistently gets air locked and it doesn't matter what you do it will not fix itself, new Grease tube, push the air lock button, undo the Grease fitting line, it does not fix. Do not buy. If I could give half or no star I would.

I had High hopes and spent extra money to get a good one but this gun sucks. It's so slow and takes forever. All the other mechanics guns are like rapid fire and mine fires every 2 seconds. I tried adjusting it, reading book, and reviews and nothing I can do. Idk if a dud or just how it is. I'm looking for a different one now and just bring my weak one home. We have 160 psi air compressor at work btw. Only the gun to blame.

Update:While the gun worked very well initially, over time the grease leaked by the rubber plunger leaving the grease BEHIND it rather than in front of it as designed. Since the lower half cannot be disassembled there is no way to clean and repair the tool.Why can't anyone make a gun that lasts more than a day!

Upon arrival I loaded it with a tube of Dexter Lithium #2 grease. After a short period of time I noticed grease leaking from the bleed valve. I reset the valve several time in hopes of correcting the leak to no avail. I then sent an email to seller customer service and immediately heard back from a rep named Jacob. He advised he would immediately send me a bleed valve and for my troubles a gun kit, what ever that is. I was very appreciative and delayed finishing the job I started assuming I would soon receive the new bleed valve and and took the pressure off the grease gun to slow the leak. I am located in Las Vegas and the valve was being sent from CA. I waited for over a week and emailed Jacob and never heard back. At this point I will be returning grease gun to Amazon. Very disappointment and never again will I purchase their product again. I understand things can fail but when new I expect support and not phony lies.UPDATE: Prior to returning the gun to Amazon I again contacted the mfg in regard to not receiving replacement bleed valve as promised. I was advised it had been sent but they would resent one immediately. They were very apologetic and understanding. Within a few days I did receive a new valve as well as a bulk loader. I replaced the bleed valve and the gun works perfect, no more leaks. The only question/concern I have is the strength of the spring. I have never used a grease gun with a spring so powerful. Bottom line, the gun works as designed w/o leaking and I had great customer service. Hence the 5 star rating.

Compared to the Milton S-3102, this grease gun is far superior. That item had many negative reviews, due to quality control and materials. There were a few LUCKY buyers who received a functional unit.The CARBYNE unit works 100% as it should. Instructions are included. Features a locking mechanism for the handle which is lacking on many others. Higher quality parts and heavier materials should ensure a long life. Unlike some others, I am NOT being compensated for any of my reviews ! I just tell it like it is and let buyers make their own conclusions.
