I liked that set up was easy. Just pop in the thread cartridge and flip some switches. We made the first couple of projects with some success after a hit of trial and error. However by the time we got to the saddle bag, machine kept jamming or just stop working , forcing us to rip and start over. The idea is that the mechanism of the machine secures the stitch at the end so there’s no need for backstitching but this doesn’t always seem to work, which means your work comes undone and you have to start over. I basically wanted to throw the whole darned thing across the room to be honest but my daughter loves feeling like she can sew. So we will limp along with it and I will get a blood pressure monitor as I felt like I was going to have a stress-induced stroke.

Bought for my daughter for Christmas. Opened it and didn’t work. And return window closed.
