I'm thinking even for the more affordable pricing this item seems a bit cheap. It's much smaller than other systems, making it a bit harder to work with, with a much smaller gain. The plastic is flimsy. It's lightweight which is a plus, but I'm thinking it's not going to hold out very long given the use.

works very well, had a hard time to find a pump for water, most are for petroleum products, i wanted it for a rain barrel and it is perfect for it. defiantly recommend it for what i used it for..

I've never done worm composting and thought to give it a try. This was small but it gave me a sense of what would be needed and what to do. Not sure if I like it or not, but I'll give it another season. This kit had everything but the worms and a decent enough explanation. It looks nice, if that's important to you- not cheap or dirty looking. Being smaller, it's easier to hide too, if you don't want it in sight.

Takes only a couple pumps to prime and water comes out quite fast. Earwigs like to nest in the handle but what you going to do?
