This pitcher is far inferior quality compared to an OEM Vitamix pitcher. However, considering the cost I think it is a very good value. Functionality is fine; durability is questionable. But for now, it has put my old Vitamix motor back into service for little cost. Do note that the pitcher does not come with a tamper and your original Vitamix tamper is a bit too long for this jar, as it will reach into the blades! Overall, I am happy with this pitcher, but if you use your machine hard and frequently, and you have the money to spend, and OEM Vitamix pitcher is far better quality than this and might be the way you want to go.On the other hand, if you have an old Vitamix motor that you want to put back into service for making smoothies and milkshakes, you will be probably be happy with this pitcher.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this container due to price and possibility of the quality not being as expected. However, I'm very happy with my purchase.The top has a seal that makes a good fit/seal to the container. The cap at the top of the blender top is easy to remove if you want to add small ice, fruit or liquid.I would recommend holding the handle when you turn on the blender and ramp up the speed. It will rock a little bit, but the original container did the same.Blends the food smooth and cleans very easy.

This fits and works pretty well on our vitamix creations elite vm0158. A little loud, and not as sturdy as the original, but this is a good MUCH cheaper option than an original branded replacement.

Je n'ai pas encore utilisé le récipient avec le Vitamix, mais sa qualité semble très en dessous de celle de l'original de marque Vitamix. Le bouchon du couvercle est arrivé cassé et je n'ai pas envie de gérer le retour et tout les tracas qui va avec, je vais recoller avec les morceaux que j'ai même s'il en manque un petit morceau. S'il fonctionne bien, je reviendrai sur cet avis pour ajouter une ou deux étoiles.

The original Vitamix pitcher has been working for 7 years non stop. I only ordered this louse knock-off because the plastic of the other one is cloudy. I liked this one, really like how the top vents pressure with hot items.However, within 2 months, the blade starting making grinding noise. I thought it was just me but it is continuing to get worse. I tried to return it through Amazon's website but there is no contact info for the seller and points me back to Amazon. I also purchased the extended warranty but at first they told me to use Amazons warranty. Reluctantly they refunded me. Really disappointed in this product and also Amazon's customer service. They should have made an easier way to refund me or replace this crappy pitcher.
