So I wanted to add some window sensors to my house, but to have an installer come out and do it they would charge $175 / window for this! I was able to add this my self in a matter of minutes, just a precaution. Make sure you login to your security provider and put your alarm in test mode. Because as soon as you put your alarm into installer mode (*8) it will trip a silent alarm. And next thing you know you will have a few cop cars at your house. I learned this the hard way. Note you need the installer code for the alarm system to add these.

Installation was pretty easy. I followed the tips from some of the other reviews (noting the number at the back BEFORE you stick on the tape). Also best to program these BEFORE you put them on the window. These are very slim and easy to install. I did it myself and worked great. The one thing I did have to do after a few days was to set the polling interval to be pretty high to 24 hours (from the default). Otherwise, I was getting false alerts (no response) with the units intermittently.
