Muy buena consola lo malo es que no hay casi accesorios para ella y en cuestión de juegos emular muy bien, solo hay que tener paciencia para la instalación de juegos de alto rendimiento como el ps2, cube y el wii

Final update 6/15One of the first things that surprised me was how pocket sized the RP3+ truly was. The controls and buttons are in a good configuration that most people should ease into quickly. The touch screen is usually responsive but I have found a little delay at times. There is a known issue where the screen is almost completely unresponsive, however, restarting the system has fixed that problem every time. Battery life is more than fair. It will be a wide range of how long it lasts depending on what you are playing. I have tried games from the PS2 era with mixed results. Some games would be fine with a little tweaking and others were completely unplayable. So before purchasing the RP3+ a major factor should be what are you wanting to emulate with little or no issue? With older generations it seems to keep pretty steady in that regard. The screen clarity is quite good, albeit starts super bright, make sure to adjust that if you are sensitive to brightness like me. It comes preloaded with many apps and that should help with what you are looking for. This is an android based system. I cannot fault the makers of the system for how easy or difficult it can be to load programs/content on the 3+, but being tech savvy definitely would help. This comes with over 100 GBs of memory which is more than enough if you stick with systems during the SNES/Genesis era, or mobile systems like the GBA. Going to the next generation or beyond you will want to get a pretty sizable SD card. Now for my couple issues, which both happened this past week 6/15/2024. I will add that both are uncommon but known issues. The first was my L1 was unresponsive, I cannot say for how long, but I only just noticed when I was trying to play a game that required both L1 and R1 and I noticed on the on screen display it wasn’t recognizing when I hit the L1 button. I reached out via email to the Retroid team with no response over the course of almost a week. My second is a very odd issue where I had the left part of my screen burn in, which is very distracting. I tried some alternatives but I will now have to reach out to Retroid again to see if I can get a replacement screen. I’ve had this for almost 6 months and I’ve gotten a lot of enjoyment out of this device, however with these couple issues I cannot fully endorse the 3+ considering the amount of money I used to purchase it and the small amount of time it took for at least one major thing to go wrong.

The set up was brutal to figure out if you've never jumped into any emulators before. But this is the case for any handheld emulator that doesn't come pre-installed with a bunch of questionably obtained roms like other devices come withj.Screen is great, controls are good. As a mostly N64 player, its not very comfortable to use the left joy stick for long periods of time for me, but the controller case thing makes it much better.I would get the Odin for the better layout, but I didn't want something that large. This device still fits nicely in small work/travel bags.

Was great for the week that it worked.. Spent some time getting all the emulators and games setup to run smoothly, had a wonderful time for about a week. And then one day the screen wouldn't turn on. Backlight would turn on, you'd hear the audio from it booting up, but nothing on the screen. Did some research and went ahead and messaged retroid support. Retroid's answer was "no the screen is fine, you just haven't charged it" which... Yeah some pretty dumb stuff.Reddit steered me in the right direction and had a few guides about the battery being an issue or the display cable not being seated. So I took apart my week old device, reseated the display cable and woolah! It's screen was working again. Now the whole reason I bought this device was for a few road trips I had for work. The device worked great after I reseated the cable, but just now starting a big trip and it's failed me again.. Backlight turns on, audio for booting up, and then absolutely nothing on the screen.I have no problem getting down and dirty with my devices, but the inconsistency with this handheld is wild. If I have to go through a device every two weeks to fix the display, then I sure as hell want nothing to do with it. If I was at home, it'd be no problem. But I don't travel with a tool kit.Horrible device, horrible support. You'd be better off getting a cheaper product with the same chip because retroid sure as hell won't support you when you spend 2x the money for the same crap.

This little handheld is well worth the money! If you can watch a video you can set it up. Mainly for Retroarch and a few of the consoles.I recommend the grip for it as it is a bit thin. Would have been nice if the sides had been bolstered a little bit.It has no instructions whatsoever. Not even to tell you what amperage the brick should be for charging it. Which would have been nice to know out of the box. Had to Google and see what others were using. The consensus was a 2.0, 2.1 brick. It not only plays retro games but also Android games from the Google Play Store. Which is pretty cool if you want to free your phone up of games.Triggers feel great. The ABXY buttons are a bit small IMHO and are a bit too pronounced. I would have opted for something with a smaller profile, a bit wider and a bit rounded on the ends.DPad feels good even though to me the style is a bit outdated now. Full directional pad would have been a better choice. The joysticks are nice once you get used to them. The screen is beautiful.I recommend the handheld and still give it 5 stars. I imagine their next iteration will be very well done.
