I loved this hat for my grandson because it matches one his dad wears! This fit him well (he hasn't grown into his head yet...is that a nice way to say his head is too large for the baby bucket hats??) so I was excited to see that this one fit! It has the band that goes under his chin, it's just perfect to keep the sun off him.

My 2 year old outgrew all his baby hats, so I ordered this one. It's very cute and he loves wearing it! The Velcro strap is perfect too and saved it flying away a few times.

I purchased one of these 3.5 years ago for my son and it is held up being worn a ton, being worn in the pool, and many many trips through the washing machine. The brim is still sturdy so it doesn't fall in his face, and it gives great protection where I can't always put sunscreen on his sensitive cheeks and face. I just bought another for my 1yo and though it fits loose on the chin strap you can adjust the elastic perfectly to fit his head and it stays on all day. I also find my kids heads don't get nearly as sweaty as they do with a lightweight ball cap when they're running outside. I suspect these will last until my kids grow out of them, but if they don't I would purchase another in a second.
