I used this to run the wiring for my fog lights and backup lights on my side by side. The wires are of good quality and were easy to work with. I was able to strip and tin without issue. Overall I am happy with the results.

The 4 wire 18AWG stranded ribbon style cable I received was spot on with specs. DC tests showed within .421 ohms for the entire 66 foot length. That is the expected resistance for 18AWG. Good copper indeed. The cable is flexible enough to easily bend it around corners. The bend pretty much stays put so I'm not having to continuously rebend it so it will fin in a tight spot.Colors are decent and easy to see. Plastic sheathing is easy to strip. I would be careful not to weather this wire a lot as the sheath could deteriorate over time. Adequately controlled environments shouldn't affect it. Having this wire in an open barn for a couple years however may proove detrimental. I recommend it used for indoor wiring. The copper itself solders easily, so no issues there either. For the most part, this is good wire imho. Recommended for RGB wiring.

This wiring comes bulk packaged. After reading the sheathing, it says it's AWM (appliance wiring) in 18 awg. This four wire is color coded to be used in 12v/24v non-addessable RGB: one neutral and three hots for each color. With the wires stuck together in this ribbon configuration it is not very flexible, but it is very tidy. 18awg is probably larger than most people would use for short runs, but it is ideal for long runs to prevent voltage drop. This wire solders easy and the jacket does not melt off very quickly when soldering. Overall I think this is a decent value if you are a hobbyist and need the extra wire.

I ordered this wire to use with 12V WS2811 LED lighting. Foolishly I clicked on this item without closely reading that it was 4 pin/conductor wire... I only need three! The wire comes tightly wrapped in plastic and tied with string. It's not on a spool. That's not really an issue, it's just wire! This is 18 AWG stranded core wire. Check your connectors as it's thicker than some LED connectors will work with (20 AWG)For me, this conducts electricity end to end. It's flexible, not brittle. It strips easily and you can separate the red, green blue conductors from the black conductor as needed. That's what I'm going to have to do.This is as advertised. 5 stars

This is pretty basic four wire stranded wire. The colors were not in the right order for the LED lights I had, but that wasn't a big deal. I just had to remember where to plug the wires into the controller unit since the wire color did not match the light color.Make sure you pay attention because this is an 18 AWG wire. I was looking for connectors and most said they only worked with 20-22 AWG wire. I was afraid I would end up with connects that didn't work and I had no use for, so I decided to just solder it on. I'm not the best at soldering by any means, but it was pretty tough because these wires are pretty thick and the pad they solder to is small. It is tough to keep they from crossing over and connecting to more than one contact. After doing that, I did find some connectors that would work with 18 AWG wire. I might get those because I feel like these wires are going to pop off easy if they get bent around much.If I was doing this over again, I would probably just get the wire and the connectors in a package deal.
