I had one factory plug that came with the truck and added one of these to the other side.. These take a little more pushing to get them clip to click into place than the Ford ones. Nice to see they included heat shrink butt connectors.

The plugs perform their intended use HOWEVER in most of the civilized world the red wire is positive. If you buy this product suggest you confirm polarity before useEDIT: I'm not saying don't buy this product but be sure to check polarity before final hook-up to avoid any problems

These are great for the pair of flex-bed connectors that Ford has in my 2023 Maverick bed. They fit exactly as did the single cord Ford provides with the truck.I saw the earlied reviews stating that the colors were "reversed" from what was expected, so I verified that this pair were now "correctly" colored, with red providing +12 Volts from the Flex-bed plug, and black is for the negative ground when plugged into the Ford socket.Of course, any time a person works with DC electricity, polarity should always be verified before attempting to power anything. I have seen many instances where the positive lead was red, white, or even black. So do always verify your wiring!

One of the features of the Ford Maverick is the inclusion of 12V Power Connector and prewired power points on either side of the truck bed. Adding electrical accessories including LED strip lighting, portable air inflator, or USB/12V power ports is accomplished with ease. On my Maverick, I mounted a four gang switch panel that includes a voltmeter and USB and 12V(cigarette lighter) power ports. Power to the panel was provided through Ford's OEM provided power connector. Plug and play easy. These connectors are clones of what Ford provides. They allow for the other side of the truck to be wired in a similar quick and easy fashion. Recommended.
