The manual is extremely limited on CLEAR direction for cleaning. Additionally, it doesn't provide error codes. I had to look online for potential error codes. First time I plugged it in I got an E01 error code, which means "a bunch of stuff" according to the Google search. Basically it was telling me it was either used before I got it, was dropped and had a malfunction or is just poorly built. Let's also not forget the "auto clean" is a joke. It doesn't automatically clean. You also get ZERO cleaning tools. It's EXTREMLY hard to clean under and around the metal sheers in the bottom of the pot. You can't even tell if they are clean or not. Also doesn't say directions on how to use auto clean. Like do I add water? Do I not? I'm definitely returning this for something WAY better. For this price, I could have gotten something more efficient!

A little noisy, otherwise 5 stars. A nicely designed drum that doesn't scrape the finish off the bottom and digests everything I've put in so far. The blade is removable which is a big plus. So far so good. I hope it holds up. Just don't put things containing salt into the unit if you're using it in your garden.

I bought this for lots of the normal reasons. Including it’s the first of the year, I’m juicing to be healthier, and now I have all this “stuff” to do something with and I didn’t want to be wasteful.Insert said juicer and I’m feelin like Captain Planet!I had saved lots of food scraps and was ready to go immediately. I even read the instructions before hand. I KNOW RIGHT?!?In the cast offs go, set it to automatic, and just like the instructions said, it gave me a completion time of 6 hours. Fast forward to include cool down time and I open the lid… wth is that??I was expecting dirt, but it was more like… baby poop or thick, cakey mud.I was very confused so I tried again. 4 more times the same result. It didn’t smell so it was better than where I’d started so “shrug”. I was thinking maybe I’d read something wrong or false advertising, you know how it’s never US.I tossed in the last batch which was 3/4 volume I normally put in and walked away. When I opened the lid, spatula at the ready, I looked down and…. DIRT!!!! Beautiful dry, crumbly DIRT!It actually worked!!! I checked the instructions again and there were no directions for volume suggestions, and no max fill line in the bin which is why I decided to deduct a star. But now that I know to reduce the starting volume I’m running the poop mud back through to get my dirt! Happy composting!!! Don’t give up. This does actually work when you get the raw volume right.

March 12th was an exciting day! It was full of composting opportunities!!!! I’ll say, it so far has been an amazing journey of food waste!Electric kitchen composter user here! I love this thing! We have this babygirl running like she has a full time job and some! No worries she doesn’t work tooooo much over time, hehe. We fill her up with all kinds of goodies. She get her veggies, grains, fruits and even protien. Yes protien!!! Yet she can only stomach chicken and fish along with there BONES!!! Hummmmm some would say… A kitchen composter that turns Bones into fluff??? You don’t say! Idk how many pounds of food waste she’s turned into soil gold, but she gonna keep on keepin on til the wheels fall off! Thank you for whom ever invented these beauties!,

We compost our kitchen waste but have issues with critters tearing our compost pile apart looking for those scraps for their own dinner. This machine remedies that problem as it produces what looks like brown vacuum cleaner "lint" with no hint of anything resembling food. We've had it about a month and so far so good. My only issue is that this is truly a generic item. There is no manufacturer or brand name listed anywhere, so don't lose the owner's manual as there's no website to go to and download another! Pay attention the the section in the manual that gives guidance to material size, especially when putting compostable plastic bags one gets from a grocery store produce section. We didn't cut one up and it got wrapped around the mixer. I later roughly cut up several into ~2' square pieces and they completely vanished.
