I cannot stand seeing those cheap little hooks and these are the best solution. I've always avoided those hooks even though I really appreciate the adhesion feature. I don't want to drill into my walls at all. These make my closet look clean, neat, and glamorous and work so well. The bigger ones are better for large brimmed sun hats and purses. The smaller ones are strong but I wouldn't risk anything more than a totally empty small purse or baseball hat. The gem design surprisingly hooks well and distributes the weight so your sweater won't get pulled.

Just needed some kind of hangers on the back of the closet door to hang some stuff.I did not want ugly plastic or crude metal self sticks and when i saw this kind it felt wort trying.I got originally 2 and after using them for few months without any problem I bought few more.They are very sturdy. Stick nicely and hold any weight I put on it - within the reason.I did not clean the door paint before sticking them on yet they stick just fine.I only made sure to let them "cure" as in.. to grab the surface for 24 hours beforeputting any weight on them. this simple procedure always help sticky things to stick better.So far, very very happy with them. I know they will easily come off when I will need them toso it is a great solution for now.

I use this particular hook a lot with hanging decor with long strings or twine around the house! It’s so pretty and a nice subtle accent!

Used these to secure curtain tiebacks. They work great. One of them came up after a few minutes (because I was impatient and didn't follow the directions and used the tiebacks right after putting these up). I stuck it back down and it hasn't budged since. I bet if you follow the directions properly like I didn't, you'd have an even better experience.
