I keep chickens, and when one falls ill or injured, I bring them in the house in a pet carrier to recover. These bowls are perfect for my chooks. They fit in the doors of the carriers and don't stain or get slimy like plastic dishes can. This is my second order of these exact bowls from this seller-- I am switching out all my plastic feeders for these. The first ones I got about a year ago and I have no complaints at all, so I am ordering more.I like the metal hoop brackets better than the plastic arm type brackets. I have one chicken that sees dinner coming and starts climbing on her dishes in excitement, and they are strong enough to hold her, lol.

I just got them today, I installed them, they came with all the parts. The only issue I had was the middle hole on one of the panels, the bolt was welded wrong and a glob of metal had gotten into the threads so I couldn’t put the screw that kept the bowl from lifting in. Other than that they seem good, have yet to test them, will try to update review once they get put to use.

I actually used these for my puppy. She kept tipping over her water bowl in her crate and I thought a bird bowl would solve the problem. This pretty much worked according to plan. Too low in the crate and she sat in it and too high, she managed to stick her head under it, but it really did work well. For me, the removeable bowl was perfect because I had to move the crate regularly from room to room and being able to take the bowls out was ideal for my application. Very happy with this purchase!

I was worried to buy stainless steel bowls from Amazon as you can't always trust sellers here. Well, these seem to be stainless! They are easy to attach to the cage, and easy to clean!We originally got similar bowls from PetSmart and they CRACKED! I think it was from using warm water to clean them and then putting cold, fresh water for the bird, but still. The connectors on those were also gross painted black.These are great so far! We don't use a bowl for water anymore, we use a bottle, but so far so good! No rust, no buildup, and easy to clean! They also look nice. Good size for our green cheek conure!
