I was super excited to finally get a really nice Columbia soft shell jacket at a great limited time deal price. I made sure and checked the size chart before I ordered. I got my jacket today. Pulled it out of the bag and was so disappointed because It’s way smaller. Tag said 3x but you can see measurements on the jacket are more of aXL-1X. I compared it to another jacket I have and it is way off on the size I’m so disappointed it’s going to be returned.

This was my first time buying a Columbia jacket because they are expensive and this was on sale. I got it for fall and I love it. It's thin yet warm and it's GREAT at blocking the wind. Makes such a difference. Now I understand why some people pay the money!

This jacket is great for all seasons. It is warm abd helps protect me from the wind, rain, and snow. I would size up if you plan on layering underneath. I typically wear a XL but purchased a XXL for this jacket. The pockets zip up, so nothing will fall out.

I purchased this as a band director heading to cold performances. This jacket is wonderful for that: the fleece lining combined with the wind-resistant shell is perfect.I did end up having to order one size larger, so consider that when ordering for sure.
