Good image quality and has held up well. Installed for about 3 months and have not noticed any water intrusion. Decent at night. The wire length was plenty long enough to install. Functions well and is fully adjustable. Great value for the money.

I don't love it, but I definitely don't hate it. It is warm. The pockets are mini-size, can't hold a cell phone. I didn't realize it didn't have a windproof flap over the zipper and no snaps, but thats my fault for not noticing. The hood is cozy warm, and love the omniheat in the inside. The colour is awesome. It flares out at the bottom, so if it's windy, the wind comes right on in. There is no way to cinch it so it's more closed.Haven't decided if I'm going to keep it, or send it back.

I connected the camera wires to the tail ight wires using a "Tap Splice", but the splice didn't cut all the way thru the insulation to the wires. Therefore, no power connection. . . . :-(This took quite a while to figure out, so be careful. After we got power, things starting working right. Camera works. Yaay!My radio is set up for default 1080P25fps, so no signal to the head unit. Go thru the options and select CVBS N, and you get the video, because the camera is transmitting CVBS N as the default. It is the low def video. Then I cut the orange wire on the camera lead, and Bingo it's transmitting Hi Def video. Go back to the head unit and change options to 720P 25fps which the camera is now transmitting. Now I have Hi Def video on my head unit screen. Beautiful Hi Def video! Better than my wife's screen on her 2020 Nissan Murano!Bottom line, the camera is great value for the price. Be careful with the mechanics of installation.

I bought this as I liked the idea of being able to adjust the camera angle. The picture is great if you can get the camera to stay positioned properly. However if you get it positioned where you want it and tighten set screw just enough to keep it there it will move as you drive. Which makes you have to reposition it. If you try to tighten it more the set screw moves the camera position. The more you tighten it the more it moves. If you leave it loose it shifts during driving or opening and closing the trunk. Essentially making this design worthless. I will be returning this and buying a fixed position camera. Good concept poor execution.

I compared this to 4 other backup cameras (my first purchases as an attempt to replace my old stereo were cheap external tablet style radios that came with cameras). I also compared this to the eRapta 720 and 1080 cameras.Despite claiming the same camera angle, this camera had a wider angle. Some might like this (I do) as it displays much more of your surroundings. But it also distorts the view a little bit more. The other eRapta cameras had backup lights, but I found this camera did better in the dark.Oddly the picture was clearer and more responsive for me when I had the orange wire connected (CVBS) instead of AHD (I ended up soldering them back together).NOTE!!! One very noteworthy item that I discovered is that the white wire needs to be cut in order to install this as a reverse camera. The image is NOT mirrored until the wire is cut. Comparing this with my wife's stock Toyota backup camera on our highlander and some googling confirmed that things should appear on the monitor on the side that they exist (mirrored view). And with the white wire connected the image is reversed from that. This is opposite of what the instructions say. I thought that the white wire was damaged on my unit and ended up getting a replacement only to find that it was the same.

I did entirely to much research on back-up cameras. I ordered four cameras, sent three back. This was the winner for these reasons:1) comes with extra screws. They are tiny, and you could lose them easily. It's nice that they include extra screws in case one is lost, or stripped, etc. Most other companies don't include any extra.2) Install flexibility. Included a bracket/plate that you can screw onto the car; also includes a threaded stud to insert and secure nut from the rear. I'm using the bracket with double stick tape for now to ensure I am happy with location. After location is finalized, I'll switch to the stud connection.3) The wiring harness is very well thought out. The camera has a tiny four pin connector that plugs into the harness. There is no large RCA plug on the camera end in addition to power connections.. This makes it MUCH easier to run wiring and to hide the wiring. It's also a very secure connection. I don't want multiple connections that could wiggle loose, especially when they are behind body panels. The power leads on this are long. I could run the power lead from the camera down the side panel and into the reverse light on my van. No need to splice in an extension wire. Fewer connections, fewer points to fail.4) Picture quality, and night vision, are superb. I have this running to a Pioneer headunit with a 9" screen, so the image is fairly large. No issues with quality. The night vision is much better than expected. The wide field of view is nice; I'm more concerned with seeing cars or pedestrians coming from the side than what is directly behind me and this thing delivers.5) You can adjust the lens direction and secure it with a set-screw. I was concerned the tiny set screw would loosen after a while. We did a 2400 mile road trip with plenty of bouncy roads (including dirt roads) and it did not budge. All in all, super happy with this camera.
