Bought a Dewalt router that came with a colllet for 1/2” bits and an adapter for quarter size bits. These fits the quarter size direct, no adapter needed. Much better!

The nut size of this collet is larger than original Dewalt collet. It appears to be 24mm as opposed to Dewalt's 22 mm and the factor wrench will not fit. Manufacturer must have guessed wrong.

out side nut is bigger than stock dewalt nut . wrench does not fit new nut.
