The first set of collars I ordered took forever to arrive, said they were delivered and weren't. So, I called Amazon immediately and another pair was sent. The next pair arrived with one of the collars damaged on the rubber. It almost looks like someone used them and returned them. I didn't want to send them back because it's a freaking hassle and I was already waiting longer than normal. (almost a month!) The collars themself seem sturdy but I haven't used them for moving any serious weight yet. The color of the collars are nice and I appreciate the rubber padding. They are also much easier to open than my older collars that are similar from another brand. However, as I mentioned I feel like someone tried the ones I was sent and returned them based on the damaged padding and indentations in it. This also may be why they felt so easy to open compared to any of these style collars I had purchased prior. In conclusion, I'd order another color in the future but I wont be keeping more damaged/pre-used collars because thats not what I ordered.

I lift a lot and these collars are so much easier and more reliable than the regular clamps. When changing plates and you're sweating, these are great. I plan on getting a few more sets for my other Olympic barbells.

I bought these to replace the junky, metal collars on my Olympic dumbells. They fit nice, hold the weight well and make it relatively easy to change plates.Not sure how well they would do if you're pulling heavy weights on a deadlift, but they work just fine for my application.

These are great 2 inch weight clamps. They’re built solid and have a very tight and secure locking mechanism. I would highly recommend these clamps.

I was actually surprised by the quality of this tool, I'm confident that if I used it daily I'd get many years of use out of it.

If you like binding metal sheets together (metal projects) then this must be in your tool cabinet. I even used it to fasten hangers in my travel trailer and the internal walls are thin and works. Buy it and when you have a metal project then this is a must to have - and it turns or pivots for tight areas... perfect!
