GET THE PRO VERSION.I repeat. GET THE PRO VERSION of this collar. The simple reason being, the PRO version has a small CLASP LOCK which is EXTREMELY important. Because these collars have such a loose way of adjusting, if your cat (in my case, kitten) happens to scratch behind their ear or on their neck, it can easily loosen.As a result, it may get stuck around their jaw/face which, if you are unable to help get un-stuck immediately, will result in yo coming home to a not-so-happy cat.I understood the slight risk of not having a breakaway collar, but given you can easily have it tight enough to put a single finger behind, it’s otherwise a great collar that stays in place well.To be clear, this has only happened to me once after a full month after initially putting the collar on. Coming home to a very wet, ripped, very loose collar was a big surprise.Fortunately (or rather unfortunately) enough, I had seen the PRO version just days before the incident and in that moment, I thought to wait a few more months before adding another color to the collection, but because of this, I had to make the switch IMMEDIATELY.

Hard to adjust, easy for cat to take off

I had adjusted this and fitted it to my small girl yesterday. Today I go to check how it was faring due to many saying the collar doesn't hold position well, but instead I find that her long fur had gotten caught up and tangled in the sliding metal clips. Had to take a little bit of wiggling her fur loose while holding her still (she hates collars being messed with for longer than 10 seconds) until I got one side and then had to get the other side. I took it off and let go of my girl so she could run off and be grouchy about being held still due to the collar, but instead she ran up to me and was purring, so I imagine the discomfort of her fur being tangled in the collar was worse than her annoyance of being held still lol.TL;DR: long haired cats will get their fur stuck and tangled in the metal clips of the collar.Do not recommend!(Also, I have to agree with what others said regarding the fit being all over the place. It looks cute but comfort and safety is more important to me.)
