Decent mugs that have the old school camping mug look.That being said...they may be a little expensive for what they are.That...being said...they should last for a lifetime...so "expensive" is relative.Buy once...use for a lifetime.That's a value.Not really huge...but functional...and they look good.I've used this type of mug forever...usually the 'blue speckled" look...and they are inexpensive and durable.These are a little different...but seem to be just as well made and I expect them to be just as durable as any of this type of mug.Decent mugs, for sure.

Decent set of 4 cups. Each cup weighs around 5oz. Holds around 12oz of liquid (little room for extra) and has about 4mils of enamel thickness. It has a nice bevel lip with no burrs.CONS: I do wish the handle was a little bit larger in height to make handling a bit easier for those with larger hands. The gauge (thickness) seems to be on the thinner side compared to other enamel mugs I've had in the past but neither of these effect their use.PROS: This would be a great addition camping kit. Certainly not for the ultralight hiker but most certainly for those who are "car camping" (camping using their vehicle to transport gear). It appears to be very durable.

I have always loved the look and feel of this type of mug. I saw this set and had to have it. The look and feel of these mugs is somehow comforting to me. I think it is the simplicity combined with the ruggedness. The black coating, paired with a speckled enamel appearance, are perfect for camping, resembling stars in the night sky. The size is a bit smaller than others I have owned. But in a way, it is perfect for drinking through a cup of coffee or hot cocoa before it goes cold. I like as well that in an emergency situation these can be used over a fire, on a woodstove and washed easily. A truly nice set.

So, disclaimer, these are marketed for camping. I expected them to be a bit more substantial than they are, and like many other people have stated, the cups are absolutely not 12 ounce capacity. They're much thinner and cheaper feeling than I would have expected. I got them for home since I liked the aesthetic, but having seen them now in person I would have passed. I think these would be fine for camping which they are presented as, but I was a little disappointed when I found they were made of metal. That means I can't use them at home or microwave them. They'd be okay if they were a little cheaper.

These camping mugs are a new fan favorite. I’m always looking for drinking vehicles that are durable and accident-proof while enabling a reliable experience and these are IT! These are on the smaller side, consistent with other “camping” style mugs. They are metal so do not microwave. Great for a Keurig dispenser and simple to hold, drink from, and clean. A bit on the pricey side for a set of 4 small mugs but they are durable and easy to travel with.
