Neither the scent of S’mores or Citrinella overpowers the other. More of a good blend of the two. I lit it up on my balcony & waited 15 mins before I stepped back on to the balcony. I sat outside for an hour & not one bug bite even though my neighbor has bucket of still water (mosquito breeding ground) just 24 inches from my balcony. Worth the purchase!I discovered the Lot Less store in my area carries them as well so I purchased 4 more!

I love the wood wick. The item was a bit smaller than I expected, but overall was a good buy. It stands up to the Coleman name for camping supplies. I recommend this. In fact, buy 2.

I am very skeptical about online reviews because sometimes it’s a hoax, but these candles are amazing !! The wooden wick adds a nice touch leaving it to burn slow, but in my opinion not as slow as the time it says it will. The smell is light, but very pleasant and it does the job. I normally am the popular sweet blooded victim of mosquitos and usually end up with more bites than I can count on my fingers and toes. I found out about lavender and citronella being their worst enemies and so if I’m not dabbing lavender oil on myself, these candles do the trick. I used just 2 for an outdoor yet very socially distant BBQ and it was enough to keep the whole area secure and free of mosquitos. I would highly recommend.
