This cooler is made from super rugged material with plenty of insulation to keep your drinks and picnic items cool even on the hottest days. It has one large main compartment for your drinks and cold/warm food items, and two smaller compartments for carrying other necessities- one of those compartments is flat on the top of the cooler and we fit a dozen cupcakes for our son's birthday in there! Each compartment has a different type of zipper- the main storage area has a heavy duty zip which feels absolutely 'expensive luggage' grade. The upper pocket zipper is slightly more flimsy, but still runs smoothly. The front pocket, which is made from a plastic material has a zipper that is super tight and does not feel nearly as durable as the others- we'll see and update the review as needed. The shoulder strap clips on and off and there's a carrying handle on top. I wouldn't mind seeing backpack style straps on this as it can get heavy with a lot of beverages, but perhaps those will be added in the future. As others have mentioned, both sides have Molle style strap holders so you can feasibly attach a lot more to this cooler. Overall, this one is a great choice for those days when you need storage for cold beverages or food!

This things cool! I like it. I don't think the price matches the value, though. I would probably pay, at most, $50-60. But, It's big. The top portion is it's own storage compartment. I mean, it's built pretty nicely, but the front pouch kinda mashed in and it seems permanent.. It's sturdy keeps things cool as expected. But, I purchased one similar for my dad that was an NFL sanctioned official product or whatever, with the RAM's logo for $50 at a Sam's club. I think it's only a smidge smaller and can be worn as a backpack. So, I'd say for the price point, I'm not reaching for my wallet.Update: I added some pictures of the cooler so you can see the size, compared to the dining room chair that I have it set on. It's, no doubt, a fairly decent size.

This holds a LOT of stuff. My only complaint is it's a little too large to use for taking work lunches as it won't fit in the fridge. Perfect for weekend getaways and events.

I have a hard cooler from Coleman that’s built like a tank and still going strong after 20 years. That thing will definitely survive another 20 years before all’s said and done. This soft cooler from Coleman isn’t built to those standards. It’s a soft cooler, not a hard cooler, and besides, nobody makes things that last anymore. But it’s built to pretty high standards anyway. If you aren’t using and abusing it daily, it will probably last 10 years. If you are, I’d guess it will last closer to 3. Coincidentally, that’s the length of the warranty. You do get all the features mentioned on the product page - 24 cans’ worth of space, a compartment for odds and ends, and water resistance inside and out. I can’t speak to whether it really does keep its contents cold for 35 hours, but it’s better insulated than my old cooler for sure, at least while the insulation holds up. However, I expected it to be physically larger given its purported capacity. Its dimensions are listed on the Coleman website as 15”x12”x13”. That limits its usability for more than one or two people’s worth of food and drinks. Its portability could arguably be a strength in some situations, to be fair. For that capacity and an $80 retail price, I expect a product with absolutely no jank whatsoever. Alas, the included shoulder strap doesn’t seem as heavy-duty as it should be, and the internal stitching on my unit is very good but short of immaculate, so I’m knocking off a star. Given the way things are these days, it’s still probably about the best soft cooler you can get.

We have several backpack/soft sided coolers and because of the material and zipper construction (they're "sealed") this one is our new FAV. Perfect cooler backpack for the beach or camping in all sorts of terrain/weather because this can withstand being out in the rain or dropped in the sand. When the zippers are closed they form a sort of seal - nothing's gong to get in. The entire cooler is made of water resistant material. Perfect for all weather camping, at the beach, near a pool, etc. Colemen knows how to make excellent coolers and this portable soft sided one is no exception.INSULATION: Excellent insulation. Interior holds plenty of cans/bottles, plenty of food items, and room for ice packs too.DESIGN FEATURES: The zippers and material as mentioned above. The carrying strap is slightly padded and can be adjusted in length. Lots of slots either side for narrow items to be tucked in or attached to with a not-included D ring or clasp. Top pocket is large enough to hold serving items, phone, keys, etc. as is the smaller but still super useful front pocket.
