Very small and VERY sturdy. Best for seperating heavy material if used by itself.Planning on buying more to run together.

I was considering using the on a larger dust collection system but the smaller form factor gave me an idea. I will be installing this as a point of use pre separator for my heavy dust producing tools. In my opinion this isn't big enough for a whole system separator. But it will be used to help reduce the amount of dust going through the whole system. Its well made and will last a lifetime.

From the pictures, I thought this was going to be a little bigger than it is. That said, this was a great surprise and the size is perfect for my needs. I thought it was going to be a compromise, but was pleasantly surprised.I picked this up to go with my little hobby CNC. I have the vacuum attachment to collect the sawdust from the CNC, but wanted to separate it before going to the vacuum. I grabbed this thinking it would be a little big, but would work. So I was very happy to have it come in. This is perfect for a small 3018 style CNC.On to the part itself. I have looked at 3D printing one, but this one is so well made, made of aluminum so static can be controlled, I think this is a much better option.
