This strainer is well made and sturdy, and is dishwasher safe. I really like the fact that it sits balanced over teapots, cups, glasses, jars, etc. The mesh is pretty dense so some liquids don't just sail through as tea or coffee would - but for what it is initially intended, it's great. It will last a very long time and is good value for the money. I've had less expensive but similar items and this one is a much better value.

The mesh sift did its job, the durability and quality of the mesh, frame and grip feels sturdy, and it has many practical uses and functionality. Its easy to use and a funnel isn't required a lot of the time. Great purchase for the price even if its on sale.

We use this strainer daily when making cowboy coffee to pour the coffee and strain the grounds. We also found it useful when making ginger tea. This strainer works great, is well made, and easy to clean.

I love it! I can make Clove tea now and Chai Tea without tiny bits floating around in my tea. Not too big and not too small. Covers the mouth of my 32 oz Yeti cup. With about an inch of space on both sides.
