Used at outdoor meets for communication. So far, they have been great up .5 miles. Not sure about 32 miles, however.

For the money, ehh they're better than some I've used in the same price range but don't expect a 32 mile range and that goes for any 2 way radio at this price, unless you have a straight shot on open plain. very useful when set up and doing maintenance around the rv and one needs the other. Main reason for purchase is, Beautiful Wife of mine Alana drives her pick'em upp truck and I pull our 42' Momentum 376th by Grand Design. We have 2 Trained German Shepherds supervising the operation .so everything is under control. outside of communication at times. so we purchased these radios to not interfere with GPS and etc. so far I'm pleased with the purchase, the only thing i wish i would have done different is get a 3rd German to watch the other 2 and went with cobras 75 all road wireless cb https://a.co/d/8gP2t7d

We use these in a mid-size grocery store to communicate with other employees.PROS:-Excellent range (signal travels through steel/concrete well)-Clear communication with minimum static/interference (unless next to each other - see below)-Lots of bells and whistles including a huge range of channels and sub-channelsCONS:-They don't like to be next to each other - they will squeal like a pig in heat if you try to talk in one whileanother is on and near you - we have to turn the other off or move at least 3 feet away in order to talk-The antenna is quite long and can dig into your side when crouching if placed on your belt (or apron pocket likewe have)-Brittle charging ports - several have broken or bent on us when trying to insert the micro USB charging cable(be very careful when plugging it in to avoid damaging it)I'd imagine these would work best for situations where people aren't working near each other. If you need radios while working near other people who have one close by, you may want to search for a different brand.

They worked well. The transmission gets distorted when there are buildings in between.

My husband and I wanted an easy way to communicate while driving across country and walkies were the best solution! I really only have one complaint and that is the duel charger they came with. After a night of charging and 30-45 minutes down the road one walkie would drop to 2 battery charge instead of 3.It would happen back n forth, so we did need to make sure we both had a charger in our vehicles for the walkies. Other than that I just wish I would have invested in a headphone to pair with it. Only because there were areas of our 2500 mile trip where I needed both hands on the wheel driving our Uhaul. Other than that and my husband missing an exit in Nashville, we were able to communicate the whole drive even in areas with no phone service.I'm very happy with the purchase and now we can use them when we're out fishing and separated. They are easy to clip on to jeans, thicker yoga pants, they pop onto pockets, and the back is easy to pop off if you do not need the clip.I would definitely recommend. We only ever really tested being a mile away from each other until that wrong turn and then I'm uncertain how far he was away from me when I got him back on the walkie, but it had to have been more than a mile and many many cars between us both.
