I love this coat stand. I needed something that I could set out near my front door when we have people over during the colder months. This coat tree takes up minimal space without sacrificing functionality - my guests were able to hang their coats and the tree did not impede the flow of foot traffic at all. Because it's so compact, I leave the coat tree in our laundry room when it's not being used by the front door. We are able to hang clothes on it that shouldn't be placed in the dryer (mostly my husband's soccer jerseys and shorts). The adjustable base allows us to quickly make sure it's stable regardless of its location. This was an excellent purchase. So glad I found it!

First was chipped all over, second one like new. For the money I would expect better quality control. Happy with it. Small footprint, sturdy. 4 stars for hassle of return…
