Wish i could give half a star, this really deserves only a 4.5.The reason for this is that there is no engraving on the hook to tell you what size it is. I had made a very nice hook holder for all my new wooden hooks and now i cannot put half of them in it because of this, On my larger ones (P,Q, S) it is easy enough to sharpy the hook size onto the hook, but on the smaller ones? If not for this flaw i would love these hooks.

this isn't that great - i would go with an aluminum one. This hook keeps missing when you are trying to crochet.

These are my favorite crochet hooks! I can'tell find them in the stores where I live so I needed to stock up!

I like crocheting with the bamboo hooks, so I try to get every size. They don't have the slippery feel like the metal. Ones do

I crochet a lot! But I have rheumatoid arthritis, which is frequently incompatible with that. This crochet hook adds a new favorite to my arsenal. It's lighter than other hooks and I can use it often when I can't use others. The wood doesn't get as cold as metal, and it doesn't snag on the yarn. Until I bought this one, my favorite was an adaptable holder I purchased that has small rubber adapters that fit into the middle of my hand so I don't have to hold the hook as tightly. But that just made everything that much heavier. The adapter cover is now my second favorite thing to use. I still have to use it sometimes when my hands and fingers are really bad.
