This belt fit as expected on our 8 year old boy. He's 4'4" tall and weighs 60 lbs. He had a little room to tighten it further if we had needed, but he's pretty skinny. He definitely has room to grow. I would imagine he could grow 6 inches and 25 pounds and this belt will still fit him. The belt was robust in construction and seemed like it will last for a long time. He played machine pitch ball and was pretty rough on the belt, but I wasn't able to see any damage even after a full season of play. That included playing on the playground for hours and hours throughout the season after the games, because kids do that.

For some reason, my children cannot ever seem to find their softball belts. They are either missing or the wrong color and it is a giant hassle in my house. So I grabbed this belt to have as another one in the house. I went with black because that is often the color most used.Both kids liked this belt. It is easily adjustable and can be made smaller for my younger kiddo and bigger for my older one with even more room to adjust (so even though it says youth, it can expand to a young adult easily). It does seem a bit wider than their other belts, but it fit through all of the softball pants belt loops without any issue. It is stretchy, like most belts, with multiple holes to go through.Overall, a great addition to the never-ending softball or baseball wardrobe!

I ordered this belt for my 6yr old son, average size, wears a size 6 in clothing. X-small in most baseball pants. The belt is a bright orange very nice color. It feels durable and as it states in the description it is adjustable.I also thought the belt was too wide for a small boy. Its as wide as an adult belt which just feels too bulky. It was so wide I had difficulty getting it through the loops. I gave it 4 stars because the belt is a good quality belt if you’re purchasing for a bigger kid 8 and up.Pros:Bright orange colorAdjustable bandGood qualityDurableCons:Wide and bulky for a 6 year oldThe adjustable loop is bigger than the belt loops making feeding the belt cumbersome.Heavy for a small child
