These are so cute and great quality! I think these are a novelty pencil rather than a pencil meant to be used everyday. The brooms are realistic and with heavy use they will break and shed so be careful with them. These are so wonderful and fun! Really good quality definitely worth the money

My daughter is a Harry Potter fan and she just loved these pencils.They are very nice and a really good price for the set.Will definitely buy again and gift to Harry Potter fans.

The wands are perfect little Harry Potter wands until one sharpens the tip to use as a pencil. The lead for the pencil is a nice fat lead for some heavy writing! Once sharpened, the tip distracts from the overall look of the wand. I could imagine myself having quite a blast with these if I were in a 5th grade classroom. With lots of kids having either the wand or broom pencils throwing spells at one another while the teacher has her/his back turned. The brooms on the other hand, seem to be effective with or without the pencil tip. The brooms are a bit messy. Trimming them a bit like one would trim a candle wick does make their appearance more delightful. Overall these would make a nice gift to any Harry Potter fan!
