The jacket is well made and looks very elegant. However, the red I received was not the same red shown in the picture, which looks like a deeper red to me. The jacket I was sent is a very bright red, like a maraschino cherry. The hem falls at just below the butt, so it's not very long. Also, it does bulk out a bit in the back from the cape, so it can make you look bigger when it drapes.

Love this cape! Ordered it in RED XL LOVED the fit and is very classic and classy . Decided to order a second one in Black XL . Took a long time to arrive but well worth the wait . It’s warm and very comfortable and does not bind . Has a fitted look yet with room to move arms and body about without feeling confined or constricted .

Got this for a wedding because I don't have any "pretty formal" jackets.I don't know that this has actual wool in it, but it is of a heavy, thick material. It's not structured like a jacket even though it looks like it is -- all the material is a very thick (like half an inch thick!) stretchy material, which is good since it's only One Size fits all.I'm 155lb, generally a size 10 up top (large) and while my upper arms aren't fat-fat, they are apparently fatter than the rest of my proportions would suggest. This jacket fits me almost perfectly -- but I can feel where the material around my upper arms is exerting gentle pressure, like a slightly forceful hug.If you're smaller than me your gonna be golden -- if you're my size or larger, I'd keep the packaging just in case.
