My kid has this to improve his catcher helmet. This product helps him to see the ball under a strong sunlight. It is a highly recommended product for the youth baseball players.

This is perfect for any catchers mask and didn’t realize how much i actually needed it till it arrived. The polarization also works really well while maintaining a clear view and isn’t easy to scratch

Honestly didn’t even know about these until my son’s Little League team went to State and plate ump had one. Whaddya know, the one for a Champro mask is less than 5 bucks. Score!Took a sec to figure out how to install, but isn’t that difficult. Upper pad doesn’t even have to come all the way off...just the center Velcro strap to feed through slot in shield. It’s dark/mirrored (think sunglasses). I had an evening game last week and sun was behind the trees and I just left it on, but taking it off wouldn’t have taken long.Great item, great price. Don’t do a ton of day games but while I do this will be well worth it.

This helps block out the sun and reduce the glare.
