Made me nostalgic since I dont live in Chicago anymore. Great tool for kids to catch balls with two hands for grounders. I choose to bat it a bunch of times to soften it up rather than wetting it only because i want it to not be super soft.

Bought this for games with all ages, and this was a fun one to hit and catch with bare hands. It was recommended to us by a friend. Looks like it'll hold up well too.

Took me back to my high scool years, no one even knew this size softball exsisted where we live in south TX.

This ball is perfectly made! Easy to grip and catch. It's firm and not squishy like other makes. I moved to Arkansas a few years ago and no one knows 16" and quite naturally nowhere sells it either. Thanks to Amazon, I'm able to have a good game with folks who never played the game.
