These pads are extremely thick which is great for me. I was glad to have all my mobility when wearing them (I bought two). I used them for paintball and worked as I'd hoped they would. I highly recommend them!

Other than being to big for my daughter, this seems to be a really good sliding pad. Lots of padding for protection. Seller is amazing, responsive, and easy to work with.

We bought this for our softball-playing daughter who had a serious aversion to sliding. The pad is thick, but articulates well. If you are buying this for protection, it will do the trick. As for our daughter, she only wore this pad a few times and was able to slide without it. That should give you an idea to the quality of the product. The pad offers so much protection that she was able to overcome her fear of sliding very quickly.
