It is easy to install and included are the screws and plugs for various wall materials. It is sturdier than my older one which had the hinge arms bent over time. This one has a different design and I think it will last much longer due to the design and how it crushes the cans. It fits 16 oz. cans as well.

1.) The package arrived (barely) with a thin cardboard box nearly torn open. Be sure to order with Amazon boxing, as the original packaging is not meant for shipping.2.) This is heavy. It is solid, thick steel. White paint will be easy to spray paint any needed touch up.3.) Others in the top 100 Amazon list (check out this list, this is #8 on the Amazon list) complain of the fragility of those rated higher on the list. They're fractionally cheaper, but hey: you are using your full body weight in a controlled manner to crush the cans, so beefy is NECESSARY.4.) How did I use it? I created a production line. I filled up a 50 gallon trash can about 60% of the way before I needed a break. I used it horizontally on a kitchen counter, because the height was perfect. I folded a towel underneath to protect the counter. Then, put a pile in front of me...and go!5.) It takes a bit of force to break the 1st crease, followed by an arm action exactly like "arm wrestling." So, a sharp hit is necessary followed by an even application of "arm wrestling."6.) The BAD: About 1 out of every 40 will flip out and land on the floor partially crushed. Why? Because there isn't anything to hold the can when the can crushes in a lopsided manner.7.) The FIX: But if you have a pristine can, then push the can under the side lip, which seems to hold the can in place. But for partially crushed cans, the cans tend to slip out once in a while.8.) I don't know how many La Croix sparking water cans were crushed in my 1st use, but it must have been around 500 or so.9.) Highly recommend.10.) Buy it. Buy it now! You will thank me.11.) Caution: If you're lacking arm power, then choose an electric crusher.

funciona muy bien y sin mucho esfuerzo, pega con la pared al fijarse y deja marca.

Ok so i have owned the flimsy looking ones and believe me they are exactly that flimsy. The handles start to twist fingers can get pinched. So comparing those ti this one huge difference. This one is heavy and very sturdy. Me and my monster togeter did about 40 cans. In about 10 min ( she not a quick loader) way less wasted space. You do need to ancher it sturdy but so worth the extra few bucks i would perchase it again if i had to but i dont think this one will break any time soon.

Was dubious at first but after a month of daily use it works like a charm. Soft drink cans crush up beautifully and to take to the refund centre is way under half the size. Love this item.

This can crusher is strong and built to last for years. It’s easy to use, fun and safe for the kids to learn about recycling.Crusher was easy to instal, I mounted mine to a board then mounted the board to the wall to give it strength and space to move freely.Tip: the bottom lip that the can sits in can be bent a tiny bit upward to make sure the cans stays in place when crushing.
