I got this for our oldest to wear to a wedding, and he was looking sharp! We opted for the tie that came with his dress shirt because the tie included with this one did not match at all in my opinion. It’s blue while the rest of the set is black. The bow tie matches perfectly, but he didn’t want a bow tie. It was easy to adjust the fit with the cinch in the back, the fabric is really lovely up close, and it’s fully lined with the red fabric. It’s a beautiful formal piece for boys and for less than $20 it’s a good buy.

My son is 8 and wears a size 10 (which I ordered). This vest is too small to fit him. I would recommend sizing up another size. Other than that, it is a great vest. Well made, nice material, and very sharp looking. I am disappointed that my son can't wear it for Christmas.

Perfect for my smallish 3 year old. Although I did have to cut the threads preventing me from tightening one of the fitting loops on the back. It was sewed to itself to keep the metal clasp from getting lost but my little prince is quite thin so needed both sides as tight as they could go.Perfect for the height, although I think he's a little short as well for his age. He chose the bow tie but the tie is also lovely. Looked very sharp over a white polo. With how skinny he is I anticipate at least a full year of growth that the vest can accommodate and the bow tie and regular tie for as long as he likes!Unfortunately, he's so small and skinny that the size chart doesn't let me put in his actual height and weight. He's too tall for 2T but tends to be too skinny for 3T so we just get 3T and adjust the fit as necessary.
