The brush is stronger than it looks. We are using it to remove moss from our roof. It works quite well. The handle is long for a good reach. Although all the joints make it bumpy and after a long use can make your hands sore.

Update TIP: Upon reflection, I think the screws are a little short. I had a bad experience with a squirrel feeder and I’m going to replace these with one inch screws instead before all the stress of using the broom causes these little ones to pop out.******************************************This is a solid, well constructed broom that requires some (easy) assembly. Just take good care with the steel bristles. They mean business. Gloves are recommended just because. I also used a drill instead of the included screwdriver to screw the handle to the brush. We intend to use it together with the power washer in the Spring. This broom is definitely up to the job. Very pleased with it.

Steel bristles make this thing a monster on tough to clean surfaces like a concrete shop floor, or just getting things clean for putting on a new floor. You can't use caustic cleaners, but you CAN use degreasing agents with it, and that's usually what you need. (Remember, for sticky adhesive messes, use a spray cooking oil or other organic oil-based products. THEN use the degreaser to clean the surface AND to get the gunk out of the wire brush!)I'll keep and use this for a long time!
