It was all black, nothing to see. There is a pitch black patch glued behind the filter, inside. All I could see is black. No sun. I tried peeling it off, but it ruined the filter.Also, this is cheap build. It shouldn't be more than 20$.

I contacted Celestron to see if this fit my AZ100 Lunar Edition sold only at Costco (received as a gift) and they responded that it would not, but I checked the dimensions and it seemed to be a little big (1/8"). It was on sale so I thought I would give it a try and it fit just fine. You need to remove the plastic shade cover on the big end by just pulling it straight off to reveal the grove in the end of the telescope where the set screws go and screw them all the way in and there you go you can look at the sun and see the black sunspots move! It does have an orangish tint, but you don't notice it when you're looking at the sun.

Salió muy bueno. Lo malo es que no lo supe escoger bien y pues asumo mi error. Le quedó un poco grande al “travel scope 70mm”. Lo pongo para que no les pase lo mismo que a mi.

The aperature mask is good for increased focal length and clarity although with this film just a bit dim at higher res. The film is okay (yellow type) and the attachment is secure. I had built one from film for my Skywatcher 100ED but it was a pain to work with. This fits the scope and goes on and off easily with secure mounting when in place. Worth the small cost to have it.

Hands down the best view of the sun i have ever seen. The filtering was perfect. Fit really well on the scope. The screws are a bit cheap feeling. Could have used metal screws
