Tests proved that the C-A-T completely occluded blood flow of an extremity in the event of a traumatic wound with significant hemorrhage. The C-A-T utilizes a durable windlass system with a patented free-moving internal band providing true circumferential pressure to the extremity. Once adequately tightened, bleeding will cease and the windlass is locked into place. A hook and loop windlass retention strap is then applied, securing the windlass to maintain pressure during casualty evacuation. The C-A-T's unique dual securing system avoids the use of screws and clips which can become difficult to operate under survival stress or where fine motor skills are compromised. The patented Combat Application Tourniquet (C-A-T) features the red tip design and the mechanical advantage of a band within a band. I carry the North American Rescue C-A-T Combat Tourniquet regularly—thankfully I've never had to actually use it, but I trust its reliability completely. It's well-made, intuitive, and easy to deploy quickly in an emergency.Knowing I have this in my kit gives me peace of mind, especially at the range or during training. There's a reason professionals rely on it daily—it's an essential piece of safety gear I recommend everyone have on hand.

Best Tourniquet on the market. Nice and reliable, one size fits all. It is easy to use especially when staged correctly. Has the nice grey tab, helps to distinguish this legit NAR from a cheap knock off with white pull tab. Also just looks aesthetically pleasing

These are authentic CAT 7, raised CAT lettering, , buckle correct. No worries about windless breaking. I paid $25 more but it’s legit.

This is a genuine North American Rescue Gen-7 CAT tourniquet (see photo showing the relevant branding and model text, attached), not one of the cheap and nasty knock-offs out there (ie: the seller is trustworthy). I've tested it on both an arm and a leg, and it was very effective on both limbs tested, with no sign of any deterioration of the product after use (as expected from the genuine article). I'm very happy with the purchase.

Great to see all as should be , C.A.T 7 is all I’ll get. Now I’m on a veterans pension and living alone with my service dog. I carry a pack daily with water fir my dog trooper and the rest. But like to be prepared guess that’s in you. But I see why these cheap or imati0n ones get bought by people who have seen one on there latest COD. As Australia you seeing $49 or more for one cat 7 no pouch, 2g pkt original Quitclot 3 pack of 2gr $48 this guy also puts $15 postage and it from Australia to Australia the small quick clot Gauze no lower than $115 1 pkt 2*3inch piece. A chest seat and nasal tube your way into the over $200 that’s only 9gr all up slowest first gen powder 1 cat 7 1 small gauze in clot chest seal without a set shears or glass breaker or pouch or kit grab bag.. pretty over the top when if someone went down of course I’m going to check clear of threat and help. Yet not in military to replace all that gear that may have saved a life. Veterans pension are not going to replace it or ambulance gives you one for one. Lot of pensions to start again. As most of us that have a controlled response to a accident zone and take, charge of panicked people making injured feel worse. As it was our job to help Those in times of fear or injury where they can’t help themselves. Little wrong And seeing the books prices since the admission to extra terrestrial craft and beings.
