I used this to contain my shoes at the front entryway and it does the job! It’s a great size without being over or underwhelming. Nice neutral color.

In the picture, this XXL rope basket is the one in the middle. I purchased the other two from someone else and they were described as XL. Luckily, the description did list the size, so I knew it was going to be smaller than my other two. But it is definitely not what I would consider XXL.This rope basket is very pretty and matches my other two perfect. I use them as our laundry hampers, in our closet. It is very soft and durable. Unfortunately, I have had this for 2 months now and cannot get it to shape properly. We have stuffed it with blankets and finally gave up. It does get stuffed full, every week, with dirty laundry so it should be holding shape by now. I am very reluctant to put a hot iron on it, as some have suggested for shaping. Maybe that's my only option if I want the top edges to stop folding over.

While I really love this rope basket, it is definitely not as big as I thought it would be. I guess I should’ve looked at the measurements, but I find the picture a little deceiving. I bought it to store extra blankets in it, but I will only be able to fit one or two large ones in there. I think it would be great to store stuffed animals or small baby blankets. Appearance wise, it’s gorgeous. Very soft cotton rope-like material. The bottom half is a tannish gray color. I posted a picture so you could see the colors up close. There’s definitely some black thrown in there with the tan. The top part is a creamy white.I don’t really know how to get the creases out of these baskets. I stuffed them with pillows to try to get their shape back…But the video shows you need to steam them out and I don’t own a steamer. Overall, it’s a gorgeous basket, just make sure you look at the measurements and have a steamer handy.
