Do not waste your money on Yamaha OEM carburetors. Yamaha‘s list price for this carburetor is $750 and honestly I cannot tell a difference between the two. Took me 30 minutes to change out to carburetor and the motor is running fantastic!

Hit a rock with the motor and starting having all sorts of starting, accelerating, and idling issues. I must have knocked some sediment loose and plugged something in the old carb, but for the price of this carb I could see no reason to try cleaning and rebuilding the old one.Had it on the boat in 15 minutes and it works like a charm, it fixed all my issues. This was for a Tohatsu 15hp 4 stroke, 2000-2007. For some reason Tohatsu used a Yamaha carb on this motor, but this was definitely the right one.

My 15 would not start without a spray of gas. Figure it was the prime starter on carb. Bought this complete carb, installed started first pull, runs like a Beast. Hope it continues

We've had this for about 2 months now. Up until this point our Yamaha 15hp motor on our dinghy had always given us issues, especially after sitting for a while. It's not an issue anymore! She starts right up on the first try!

Works good. Alot cheaper than a yamaha oem.
