So far I am pleased with the printer. The only issue I have is with the LCD screen. It is very difficult to see. Seems like it should light up. I have only had the printer a few days so will need more time to give a trie review.

Very good 4 function printer. I works well for printing, scanning documents to pdf or jpg, making copies and faxing. The XL ink cartridges are OK but don't seem to last as long as my previous printer.

It’s a good basic printer for the price. I was easy to set up the Wi-Fi connection. Print quality it good.It is very slow and while printing very loud. It seems to be thinking for a long time between pages. It gives you a “printer is low on ink” warning way before it is low. I got a warning the day after I changed the cartridge. But…the black ink does run out very quickly. The LED is hard to read.

The LCD display is too small and difficult to see. The installation script downloaded from Canon worked only once. After a printer firmware update, the printer lost its WiFi connection. The setup script failed repeatedly. Finally, I used the WPS option accessible from the tools button on the printer along with activating the WPS button on my WiFi router to automatically establish a WiFi network connection. Next, I selected "Devices and Printers" in Control Panel. I removed all the installed TR4720 functions. I then selected "Add device." My computer located the TR4720 printer on my network. I selected it and my computer installed the software to successfully complete the reinstallation process.

It's a pretty good printer/copier EXCEPT...The tiny LCD display requires that a flashlight be kept next to the printer. even so, one must be looking directly down on it to read. The online user manual devotes pages upon pages to obvious stuff, but there are only two lines for using the reduce/enlarge function and other variables like paper size and type when copying. Additionally, there is an obscure setting that prohibits use of the ADF when set wrong, which it is as the device comes from the factory. I thought it was a hardware problem.So after eight months of trying to cope we are going to donate this inconvenience (and the expensive genuine Canon ink within) and buy something less frustrating--looking at a Brother with a front facing proper display, keyboard etc.

Espero que de verdad no la compren. Estaba muy ilusionado con esta impresora, pero me decepcionó demasiado. Los cartuchos están carísimos y no rinden nada, solo logré sacar 25 copias, 25!!. Al final terminas gastando mucho, pero mucho más en los cartuchos que en la misma impresora y te sale mucho más barato ir a la papelería y sacar ahí tus impresiones.De verdad les recomiendo que no gasten su dinero en esta impresora.

El cartucho de tinta negra apenas me alcanzó para 100 impresiones y los repuestos son demasiado costosos

Funciona bien, siendo inalambrica, envio datos desde mi mac, ipad, iphone, etc!muy comoda, pero los cartuchos son caros, recomiendo comprarlos y luego recargarlos!
