The battery I am using works fine for my Canon PowerShot 4000. So far so good.

Canon makes a very good battery. Holds its charge. Like most takes awhile to charge so buy an extra to use while the other charges. Would recommend.

Great value for the price. Seems to do the trick it was meant to do. Can't assign a grade for the longevity - just got the item, but the battery life seems good.

I haven't had these long enough to know how long they will last but so far so good as they should be for the $$$
