This is the best gift idea. I've purchased several for myself as well as for gifts. They heat a candle up which does not burn down when you normally light a candle. there is no more soot and flame. Its perfect for My 13 yr old son who likes to have candles and now I have some peace that there's not an open flame in his room

I was skeptical at how effective this warmer would work, but I'm incredibly impressed at how well it warms the candle to spread the scent, without the risk of an open flame. The light is bright, but adjustable and I especially appreciate the timer function so that I can set it and forget it, without worrying I'll leave it on all day. This is a wonderful gift for yourself or someone else! I'm going to get more for the other rooms in my house.

I love the style of this item & it is well built. The underside does not get over-heated by the warmed candle and the hood hasn't gotten too hot to touch even after having it on for several hours. I like that it is dimmable, however, the wax will not melt as evenly or as quickly, this affecting the strength of the scent in the area.

Ah, the candle warming lamp—a fine device for those of us who like the smell of a candle but would prefer to forgo the fire hazard. As far as appearances go, it’s not exactly the centerpiece of a grand design, but it’s perfectly adequate. This one comes equipped with four different intensities and a timer, which feels suitably futuristic for a device meant to gently warm wax. I also appreciated that it came with two lightbulbs, which, if you’re anything like us, means you’ll avoid the inevitable hunt for replacements when one burns out at the least convenient moment. Now, for the real-world use: the lamp works well, but I’ll offer a friendly warning to those with small, curious hands around—this metal contraption gets *hot*. Like “do not touch” hot, which is probably how all lamps designed to melt things should be, but still, a point worth noting. My only quibble, and it’s a small but persistent one, is that the controls are inconveniently located halfway down the cord. Which, in the grand scheme of life’s minor annoyances, is somewhere between having a pebble in your shoe and being unable to find a pen when you really need one. It would have been far more sensible to place the controls on the lamp itself. But alas, we must all make do with the cords we are given. I suppose it makes sense, keeping you from 2nd degree burns.. All in all, it’s a good, functional piece—just keep it out of reach and be prepared to stretch for that power switch.
