I like the looks and quality of this lamp. The bolts that attach the base of the lamp to the mounting plate protrude a bit out of the back of the mounting plate where it sets against the wall. Had to drill two holes in the drywall just deep enough so that the heads of the bolts would sink in enough so that the mounting plate would sit flush against the wall. The lamp was not bright enough with a 60-watt incandescent bulb but discovered that it is safe to use a larger size LED bulb if it does not exceed the wattage maximum of the receptable. Used a 75-watt LED and it gives just the right amount of light and by swinging the fixture into different positions, the brightness can be adjusted. Also, the plastic anchors were too small so got the nice size bigger that have a rim around their heads to prevent the anchors from going through the wall. I eventually will buy another one of these lamps to mount on the other side of the headboard.

Not a bad lamp for the money. Only wish it was more flexible! But good product all around!

I had been looking for a long time for a light that worked well in the space and had the features that I wanted, so I was excited to find this one, and with good reviews. When the light arrived the shade was dented, which was a disappointment. I emailed the customer service folks listed in the package insert and had a response w/in two hours. Don't hold them to that timeline! That was simply my experience. I sent them photos of the dented shade, and they responded quickly that they were sending out a whole new light, and that I didn't need to go through the hassle of returning the damaged one. The entire email exchange occurred within the same evening, which was amazing. A few days later the light arrived. Installation was a breeze and it works perfectly to meet my needs. I will absolutely consider them again when I have other lighting needs!
