This review is for $15 4-Digit Combination Padlock Long Shackle . . . (11.2").It's a handy lock and easy to change the combination to whatever 4 digits you desire. Note that the 11" cable gives you a loop about half that size: ~5 1/4" long. The cable is stranded so reasonably flexible and has a nice rubber-ish coating protecting it.As a deterrent it is useful but if someone really wanted to cut the cable it probably wouldn't be all that difficult with bolt cutters. The 4 dials are plastic so someone could break the plastic dials and turn the tumblers to open the lock.For many things I prefer the convenience of combination locks so I don't have to hassle with a key - this lock fits that need.I do not have personal experience with "RESET-201(2 Pack) 4 Digit Combination Padlock with 12 inch (30cm) Steel Cable" but they are two for $10 and appear to be rather well rated. Always check around for similar products especially since things go on sale or have coupon discounts.

I like that this lock is easy to use and resetting the combination is a breeze. I appreciate the lightweight design and the larger loop, which perfectly accommodates my thick cable bike lock. It feels like it’s made of durable materials, but the cable is thin and could be cut with the right tools.It works great for my purpose to keep my gate locked going into my backyard. But I’m able to hide the lock from the inside, so it looks like the thick cable is the barrier to cut through.Thanks for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.
