Seems rugged and did the job, our car wasn't stolen at the airport! Obviously it won't stop a determined criminal, but it's good enough to make them choose the car next to you instead. The only thing I didn't like was that the hook that goes over your steering wheel is black and not super visible which reduces the deterrent affect. I wrapped the end in orange duct tape so it would stand out and make it obvious to a criminal that they should move on instead of breaking my window.

Had a similar design purchased in the 90s. After 30 years it failed & have had a hard time finding a replacement. If you have a push-to-start ignition you need one of these. This lock is sturdy despite being extended to 33”, and fits my mid-size crossover perfectly. Just lower the steering wheel to its lowest position and make sure the steering wheel is pushed in as close to the dash as possible. Hooks around the brake pedal & onto steering wheel. Will effectively slow thieves down or deter them all together when a stranger’s vehicle is not as secured.

I bought this anti-theft device after my co-worker’s car got stolen from the office parking lot. It’s easy to put on and take off and makes the car undriveable by locking the steering wheel to the brake pedal.

Let’s face it. Canada in the last 8 years has become a breeding ground for criminal catch and release car jackers with no respect for other peoples belongings. It’s a shame. Shortly after purchasing my dream truck it was broken into and almost stolen completely. I live in a great area but in Canada that doesn’t matter anymore. So I use this device in combination with the steering wheel club offered by this brand. Helps me sleep a little better at night. Use it with multiple other safety devices to get a full 8 hours rest knowing car jackers are watching your house, but you will out smart them next time.
