Baby cam mounted to the side of the bassinet can't angle down enough, so got this version with 45deg angle 1/4-20 screw threads on the corners to mount it leaning down. The clamp portion is plenty strong, being anodized aluminum.

Its a functional clamp. I really like the variety of pre-drilled screw holes compatible with most photography equipment. I least like the simple clamping screw. It will do the things I bought it for but could use a little more design work for a quality clamp.

It is a bit more versatile than some clamps I have but those "very soft " vinyl bits along with an extremely loose fit of the screw means it wiggles ... A LOT. I would not trust it to hold anything steady other than a slave flash or small P&S camera.

Arrived today in a timely fashion.Appears 'ok' other than the totally bizarre non standard threads used... that look like they'll easily strip under minimal torque. (See attached close up photo.)Also, the pads are the cheapest flimsiest plastic like material imaginable.Sorry, I have little confidence in this product.
