This is an excellent product. Camelbak has done it again.6 month Update -Can I give 10 stars? The backpack is holding up so well I cant believe it. I have been using it as my primary work backpack. It carries my XPS15, iPad, chargers, cables, work documents etc and is pretty loaded up. I have been using it 5 days a week for the last 6 months and not a single seam or stitch is out of place. Wow! Probably the best backpack I have ever owned.

CamelBak does a Lifetime Warranty on their packs and we all know why. Their packs are wonderfully built. It shows the quality, everywhere you look. There is reason that some of our military is issued CamelBak equipment. This has been my EDC (Every Day Carry) to work. It isnt as big as the 5.11 Rush 12, the perfect size smaller. It has a laptop and a tablet sleeve, which I have used. A great Admin pouch in the front for various items. And several other pockets for your other knicknacks. Plus the added hydration bottle on the side that is collapsible. Great Product and it almost even looks like the super expensive Goruck Backpack style!! which is an added bonus!

The product photo that Camelbak have used for the camo model is terrible, and does not in any way reflect how it really appears in real life. Ignore the photo, because the camo model actually looks AWESOME. It's a very dark and subtle pattern, not at all like the photo. For a much better impression, watch the Quantico video on the Camelbak website. Despite being a little apprehensive when ordering, I am extremely happy with camo. I despise the "try-hard-to-look-military" cheesiness of most civilian camo products, but not this one. This is one of those rare civilian products that implements a camo aesthetic that works. At least one YouTuber has slammed the Quantico for not having a suspended carry system for laptops, but that is an incorrect and garbage assessment. I can confirm that the laptop pouch actually maintains a very good clearance between the bottom of the pouch and the ground, securing the laptop in a way that provides a good degree of "bounce" to mitigate shock. It's actually very good. Even the seperate tablet pouch has the same set-up. Both the laptop and tablet pouches are part of a completely seperate tech compartment. The tech compartment additionally provides extra space between the laptop and tablet pouches to store other gear (noting that only the pouches provide ground clearance). The main compartment (middle) is very generous, with plenty of room for my DJI Mavic Pro drone, Osmo Mobile gimbal, tripod, flight controller (in a seperate pouch at the top of the compartment), and 2 handheld UHF radios. Even fully loaded, there is still room for wet weather gear. An additional sleeve at the bottom of the main compartment can store smaller items such as batteries etc. Students will find plenty of space for those of you who actually still carry a mountain of hardback textbooks. The admin compartment (front) is full height, with oganisers for pads, pens, USB sticks etc. It is well laid-out with plenty of free space. There is a small padded compartment at the very top-front of the Quantico for sunglasses/phones etc.On the outside, behind the MOLLE webbing is an external sleeve covering 3/4 the height of the pack. It definitely comes in handy, but it wouldn't store large objects without encroaching on interior space. The MOLLE webbing is the old style webbing, which I personally feel is superior to the new laser cut style. It not only looks more rugged and hard wearing, the extra stitching and heavier fabric means it probably is.Other reviews have suggested that the width of the strap that joins the shoulder pads to the base of the pack is too narrow. While it is true that the straps are not as wide as those on some MILSPEC gear, there is absolutely nothing wrong with them given that this is an EDC (Every Day Carry) bag. They are designed for purpose, they are well attached to the shoulder straps with numerous stitching lines, and they are unlikely to break off. The are perfectly fine.I love the drink bottle holder. It really does fold flat and open with ease as shown in the video. Its a very nice touch, and is not at all flimsy in operation or looks. On the opposite side of the pack is a flat external pouch that would be useful for storing items such a small pop-up umbrella. The side pouch does not fold out like the drink bottle holder. There is a cable compartment that runs along the front bottom of the pack. It’s only extends about an inch or two back from the front, and is the perfect size for cables without wasting space.Despite the generous amount of storage space, the Quantico finds a way to appear slim and sharp even when lightly loaded. It is not at all bulky or awkward. It’s almost magic that it does not need compression straps to hide unused capacity. While the back panel and shoulder pads are padded, this is an area that Camelbak have skimped on. Back and shoulder comfort could both be improved, although they are adequate for a short carry. The back panel definitely feels harder than it should. I know this is not a hiking pack, but I am sure there are many travellers and commuters out there would agree that more is better when it comes to padding. The Quantico is definitely a commuter EDC. It is not designed for hard-core use, long hiking expeditions, or any serious outdoor applications. It is an excellent choice for the tech savvy commuter/traveller/student.I highly recommend this pack, and I especially recommend the camo colour. Camo is the only colour option that is made with Cordura fabric. The other two colours are made of cheaper nylon. I think the cheap nylon would be fine, but personally, I love the look, feel, and ruggedness of Cordura. Cordura means the camo model is slightly more expensive.I have an addiction for great EDC bags, and the Quantico is my favourite by far.
