This is the second one I own. I purchased the first one several years ago when there wasn’t anything called an internet, way back in the day when you actually went to a store and purchased items.I actually use it for measuring wet ingredients for making ice cream with and it’s very handy for putting the ice cream in when I am portioning it out into quart containers.I also have used it with baking especially when making quadruple batches of cookies. I love that you can easily see the measurements on the side of it as they are well marked. It’s a pretty heavy duty measure and is something that is generally found in the restaurant industry. The best thing is that it’s sturdy enough to pop into the bottom rack of your dishwasher for cleaning , it really holds up to the heat in it.

Fabulous pitcher for the price ($18–11/24). Heavy polycarbonate construction (NOT brittle plastic!), so it’s not going to break if dropped or banged around. The measurement markings are large and dark and highly contrasted upon the clear polycarbonate and visable from 2+ feet away.I use it to mix fertilizer and water orchids, but this baby has a cornucopia of uses. Highly recommend!

This is a strong, solid measure cup. Numbers easy to read. Handle is very strong. Washes nice. I do not recommend washing in dishwasher.

I have a small three peg rack at the top of my kitchen faucet, on the wall... and this cup hangs there and it fits just right on the peg. I use it for myself when I want a drink of water. I live alone so no one else uses it. And occasionally I will use it for measuring liguids too... but mostly for drinking water. When I was a child, my grandma had an outdoor pump at a well to supply her with the water she used in her house work and cooking. There was a enamel tin cup that hung near the handle of the pump. So if you were outside and needed a drink of water... all you had to do was use that cup and push the handle of the pump about 3 times and you got the COLDEST and FRESH tasting water. This cup in my home reminds me of grandma's cup at the pump. A cup at the "water tap" for drinking... that is why I have this cup. It reminds me of my grandma and my childhood days on the farm.
