I like them. They fit me just right and stay up when I wear them. Not much more I can ask for in a sock!

I decided to order these bamboo socks, because I know that bamboo material is very soft. In the past, I knitted socks from bamboo yarn, but they shrunk so much I had to give them away. I hoped that these socks because of the 10% spandex would stretch and also be resistant to shrinkage.When they arrived, I washed one pair in lukewarm water in my washer and dried them at a medium setting in my dryer. I then compared those socks with the other two unwashed pair and there was no shrinkage. The sock material itself is soft and thin, which is just right when wearing dress shoes. I wear a size 10 extra wide shoe, so I ordered the larger size. The socks conformed to my feet and legs and fit wonderfully. Unlike some other socks, they stay in place all day long. Having larger feet, I often find my toes to be constrained by socks. These socks do not limit or put strain on my toes.The socks may be a little more expensive than other socks, but in my opinion, they are worth every penny. Comfortable feet are so important to one’s overall mood and these socks I will be ordering more of these socks in other colors.

I love that these socks are mostly bamboo, a natural fiber that lets your feet breathe. Of course there needs to be some spandex for stretch and fit, but for me 10% is way too much. Bamboo is usually extremely soft. But with so much spandex they lose some of the softness and feel more similar to how tights feel. I just don’t like tights, nor any clothing to be hugging my body.The color is a true dark black, which is a big plus. I would wash these in cold water, throw them in a low dryer for maybe five minutes, then hang or lay to dry. Also use some detergent meant to keep dark colors intact. Woolite has a good one.The fit is truly form fitting with all the spandex. It’s not too tight but there is no extra fabric. Again, think a pair of tights. It’s the equivalent of a bandage dress on your foot! I wear an 8.5B shoe and my ankles and calves are on the large side. The socks pull up and stay put but I don’t like how much they stretch as they look positively shiny! That’s not an attractive look and I have never seen it before in a pair of socks. It makes them look synthetic.If you have smaller ankles and calves the socks may not need to stretch as much but you still will get some shine. I put my hand only into the sock and see shine under my lamp. That’s what the picture shows. If you are thin to medium in your lower legs I you should try them because they are nice looking and a great length.

These are good socks. There are several things I like about them. First of all, they are really soft and comfortable and feel really great on your feet. They fit well and stay up without being too tight. I haven’t had an issue with them sliding down. I love the muted colors. They are pretty, but also conservative enough that I can find a pair to go with just about any item in my wardrobe. I washed them in my washer and then tumbled them dry on medium heat. They came through the wash perfectly. My only reservation about these socks is that they are thinner than I expected. I can see my toes through them. It makes me concerned that they may wear out quickly. I hope that is not the case because I really like these socks.
