I debated giving 3 stars, but I felt that might be a little harsh. I've had some issues with this thing, and if you have experienced any of these, I hope this can help you as well.Functionally, this works fine. With the app, you can set the color and brightness of the light and the delay for clumping before it enters cleaning mode. It's easy to fill, easy to dispose of dirty litter, it's sturdy, and decently spacious. It also comes with 2 rolls of replacement bags, which is greatly appreciated. Allow me to get into my issues with it though.1.) The app claims to send push notifications for the litterbox. I have found that no matter what I do, even with all push notifications turned on, it does not. Therefore, I regularly check the state of it just by physically looking. This isn't too big of a deal (there's really only so much that can go wrong with it) but I do wish the app worked as advertised.2.) There's a quick start guide for setting up the litter box with decently clear instructions, but no information about potential issues or how to use the app. For example, I still am not quite sure what the 'flow set' feature in the app is for. What I have figured out is that if you find the litter box continuously rotating and getting stuck, reduce the flow set and this should stop.3.) I believe it has something to do with the weight detection in the litter box, but when refilling or replacing the litter in the litter box, it will get stuck on the next cleaning cycle. The solution I found is every time I add litter or replace it, I push 'reset' in the app (I believe it needs to know the weight of the litter). Then I push 'clean' to make sure it cycles without any issues before walking away from it.Overall, this litterbox does save me a lot of time. Instead of cleaning out a regular litterbox every day, I just replace a bag in this one once a week or so. I only have 1 cat so others experience may vary. Refilling or replacing litter is a little more time consuming given the aforementioned issues/solutions, but definitely still worth it with all the time it saves. If this came with more comprehensive instructions that addressed what I talked about, I definitely would have given this 5 stars.

The equipment seems sturdy enough to prevent accidental breaks.Easy to assemble.User guide is in rather a small font; a bit difficult to read, even with my glasses.Now the: but.... Does not fully clean the 'clods' adhered to the inside tray. We use a nationally-well-known litter brand that I assume is at least part clay. No problem for manual litter box cleaning. This unit will stop the removal process when it reaches the stuck-on clods. That's probably the safety feature which assumes a cat has entered the box.Have ordered a pellet-type of litter to see if it works without creating sticky clods.Two of my three cats use this unit. The third one does not. Am guessing he doesn't like to be fully enclosed, or perhaps the moderate noise the until makes when cleaning.There are more similar units available through Amazon. Considering buying (and perhaps replacing) an 'open air' one.Cost appears to be in line with the competitors prices.

As the title says. Got this on Black Friday. So hasn’t even been a full month, and almost daily I’m having to go in and check the app since it keeps saying a cat is in there when it isn’t. Won’t run a cleaning cycle so I have to go and tell it to clean. I’ve deep cleaned it, but nope same thing. Got a litter box to track one of my cats, but now I can’t since it glitches the second time they use it that day.

My wife and I will be going on a vacation for a week in February and our biggest concern was who would clean our cat's litter box. Our concerns have disappeared with this purchase. This automatic self cleaning litter box is great. It was very easy to set up. The cleaning operation is very quiet and unnoticeable. Also no more smelly litter boxes. I love how it comes with an app for added functionality and tracking. For us it is worth the money and is a much better value than the much more expensive ones.
